Mitutoyo Formtracer Avant
A completely new generation of Mitutoyo laboratory instruments combines a contour meter and a roughness meter. Profile and roughness measurement with motorized and programmable axes X, Z1, Z2.
The Mitutoyo Formtracer Avant series brings many improvements to ensure higher accuracy, user comfort and protection of the device against damage to its parts, especially measuring arms and tips.
Thanks to innovations, the Formtracer Avant series boasts the highest feed speed in its class, which significantly helps shorten the measurement cycle.
The Touch Drop Detection function can detect a sudden sharp fall of the tip from the measured piece and immediately stop the measurement process to protect the measuring tip from damage.
With additional optional Y axes and two rotary axes, the Mitutoyo Formtracer Avant instruments can be made into a comprehensive universal and fully automatic measuring system.
Roughness measurement
AVANT device models (variant S = Surface) for measuring roughness are equipped with a displacement unit and a sensor for measuring roughness.
Mitutoyo AVANT roughness measuring instruments can now be retrofitted with a profile measuring unit and software at any time, without the need for extensive rebuilding of the instrument.

Mitutoyo Formtracer CS-3300
FORMTRACER CS-3300 is a CNC device for measuring profile and roughness with one combined sensing unit, replacing two traditional devices: contour gauge and roughness gauge.
Using this unit, the device can analyze both profile and roughness parameters from a single measurement, which significantly shortens the time required for the combined measurement and does not require the replacement of sensing units.
The new generation of this combined device brings significantly higher measuring speed, time savings, new functions and more user-friendly operation.

Mitutoyo Contracer CV-2100
The Mitutoyo CV-2100 semi-automatic contour measuring device is designed with very easy operation and fast measurement in mind, with an emphasis on quality and affordability.
Thanks to the integrated control panel on the body of the measuring unit, the CV-2100 is a very compact device with low space requirements.
The increase in the measuring range in the Z1 axis, compared to the previous model, makes it a suitable choice even for more complex shapes.
Manual rapid movement of the sensing unit in the Z2 axis (column) enables a very quick change of the measurement height level and thus the possibility of a very quick change of the measured part.
